Israeli Messianics say not becoming ‘Christian’ is key to connecting with their unbelieving countrymen | Aviel Schneider
Something is moving. A growing number of Jews who believe in Yeshua (Jesus) do not want to turn their backs on Judaism.
This trend, which has become more evident in recent years, is often an individual rather than collective decision. These believers are scattered all over the country and many in the same situation do not even know each other.

Messianic Congregation or Church? Some Israeli believers in Jesus say Messianic congregations have abandoned their Jeiwsh identity.
Since this is a very sensitive and potentially divisive topic on the Messianic scene, we emphasize that those who shun congregations do not reflect the majority of Jewish believers in the Land.
Nevertheless, it underscores a dilemma facing many Israeli believers who feel caught between Judaism and Christianity, between Jewish and Christian doctrine and expressions of worship. Many Jewish believers are troubled by congregations that they see as implants of Western Christianity which have abandoned their Jewish and Israeli identity.
