Submitted by: Aaron Halim, April 4th Topic: Aaron's Blog - One of the celebrations which we do every month in our Messianic congregation, is ha Chodesh, or the New Moon service. This is something very new to me; it is one of the transgressions against YHWH command that I have done, and misunderstood by most, if not all, the so-called mainline churches’ shepherds. 4 comment(s)
Submitted by: Aaron Halim, June 7th Topic: Aaron's Blog - McDowell said: “We owe it to ourselves, we owe it to our children, we owe it to our neighbors, we owe it to the lost, to tell them not just what we believe but why do we believe it.” Apologist McDowell concluded his article with the quoted remark above in “Most Christians Cannot Explain their Faith, Says Apologist” which I posted a few days ago. 3 comment(s)

The most popular view of grace is as follows:
"Simply put, Grace can be defined as God's unmerited favor. It is God's free action for the benefit of His people. God's grace can be compared to the pardon that a governor of a state can give to a guilty prisoner who is facing execution (the punishment of death) for something that he or she did. Without this pardon, without this grace, they will be given what they deserve.

After posting the video clip (below) from a sermon delivered by Joseph Prince (JP) of Singapore, I found the partial transcript of JP posted by a learned brother, repudiating JP's false gospel.
The "My comment" section is his while JP refers to Joseph Prince's.
I, Aharon, is only quoting and posting this partial transcript and fully agree with his comment!

For today’s forum, I am going to shock you with a lesson taught by a condemned evil-doer. Yes, you read it correctly. It is not from one of the apostles nor one of the prophets; our teacher was a condemned evil-doer and … to be emulated by us to boot!
As a matter of fact, there were two of them, and we will look at both of them, but hopefully will emulate one of them only. Have I gone “loco”? You figure it out, read on!

Submitted by: Aaron Halim, May 15th Topic: Aaron's Blog - That people, all throughout the world is living in fear, is very obvious! We fear of natural disasters – earthquakes, tsunamis, dormant volcanoes erupting in all unlikely places. We fear of the outbreak of pestilences, and most of all we fear of terrorists’ attacks launched by groups of radical Islamist. No countries seems to be free from terrorists’ threath, except the ones which harbored and financed these movements. Most targeted countries are Israel and the so called “Christians” nations! 1 comment(s)

I am going to share about a certain creature that we haven’t talked much about:
Gen 3:14 And יהוה Elohim said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all livestock and more than every beast of the field. On your belly you are to go, and eat dust all the days of your life.
When we come to the above quoted verse, we don’t think too much about the last sentence which says: On your belly you are to go, and eat dust all the days of your life. This verse seems to say that in the beginning, snakes were created with legs. But if we care to examine the scriptures further, we will find out that, this assumption is quite contrary to what actually had taken place:

Let us look at a congregation which caused a Rabbi’s Nightmare. I am presenting to you… the Corinthians!
Corinth was a debauched cosmopolitan city, boasting of gods’ and godesses’ temples. Of note was the temple of the goddess Aphrodite, built on top of a hill, which could be seen from every side and angle of the city and even from as far away as the city of Ephesus, which is located about 40 miles away from Corinth.
In this particular temple, were kept no less than a thousand women for the sole purpose of worshipping this goddess by offering their bodies

Submitted by: bfreedom, January 6th, 2009 Topic: Community Forums - In this day and age, when we say hospitality, we automatically think of such things as food, drink, lodging and good times. Although this is part of biblical hospitality, it is not the full meaning. The purpose believers gather, primarily is to worship God. The act of worshiping God has a number of elements: 1 comment(s)
